LISTEN
Happy Place S32, Ep1: Eat for energy not weight loss! Em the Nutritionist: food impacts mood
Fearne Cotton's Happy Place podcast is one of our favourites. Interviewing everyone from actors to doctors she tackles some big issues. We loved the episode with 'Em the Nutritionist' discussing our relationship with food and how we should stop restricting and instead focus on fuelling our body with delicious and nutritious food!
Sally when the wine runs out - Role Model
We have had this song on REPEAT since it came out a few weeks ago. This song paired with a walk on a sunny day - match made in heaven!
Watch
Lee
The fascinating story of World War 2 journalist Lee Miller and her intrepid work as a photographer at the front line. A truly inspirational story from the artistic and thespian glamour of the South of France and Vogue magazine to traumatic war torn Europe - a great performance by Kate Winslet.
Read
Hearts Invisible Furies - John Boyne
A beautifully written story spanning 7 decades from 1940's Ireland to today. Told through the eyes of Cyril Avery, born out of wedlock and adopted by an eccentric Dublin couple; this book is a fabulous observation of social history and changing viewpoints. Funny, touching and tenacious, this is a great book
Anna Jones - One Pot, One Planet
Anna Jones strikes again with ANOTHER book full of inspirational vegetarian food. Poignant in its ethos but gentle and achievable in method, this book will inspire you to cook more seasonally with vegetables as the hero. Try the lemon, tomato & cardamom dhal, it's completely delicious!
Eat
Goodinbread
It's really hard to buy good bread from the supermarket and it's often full of ultra processed ingredients. I recently discovered 'Good In Bread' and I couldn't be happier. Delicious bread made with regenerative organic flour, delivered to your door. Keep a loaf or two in the freezer, you won't regret it!
